LEARN THE BASICS TECHNIQUES OF MICRODERMABRASION. Microdermabrasion is a cosmetic technique tha uses a mechanical medium (crystal, fluid or diamond) for exfoliation to remove the outermost layer of the skin, that is composed by dead cells on the Epidermis. Microdermabrasion is a non-chemical, non-invasive procedure that uses a spray of micro-crystals to remove the outermost layer of dry, dead skin cells and reveal younger, healthier-looking skin. Microdermabrasion encourages the production of a new underlying layer of skin cells with increased levels of collagen and elastin, which further improves the skin’s appearance. Microdermabrasion is considered gentler than dermabrasion. Dermabrasion is a more intensive procedure used to treat deeper facial lines, extreme sun damage, and scars.
Microdermabrasion is very good at improving skin radiance and providing a smooth surface for even cosmetic application.
