Medical Assistant in Miami is the campus of Florida Medical & Aesthetic International School (FMAIS), a license school by the Commission for Independent Education of Florida. One of the educational programa we offers is the Medical Assistant Associate Degree Program that is designed to provide students with a comprehensive education in medical assistant, focusing on both theoretical knowledge and practical skills essential for success in the healthcare industry.
Medical Assistant requires 91 credit hours to get the Associate Degree Diploma. The course is structured by modules that include a General Education Module that offers 25 credit-hours and is the require module to get the Associate Degree in Science. The rest of the module prepare students learning medical terminology, office skill, phlebotomy, electrocardiography, basic X- ray operator and other modules that contain hours of Labs and externship where students participate withy real patient to put into practice the knowledge acquired in the lecture classes.
Prospective student requires present to fill the registration form providing proof of high school Diploma or its equivalent and photo ID. Transcript form other school is accepted and foreign medical graduate and international healthcare professional is accepted with previous revision of documentation. Classes are offered during weekdays in the morning and also in the afternoon form 6pm to 10 pm Monday to Thursday.
At the end of the course, the student will receive an Associate Degree Diploma and will be able to participate in the preparation course for the Certified Clinical Medical Assistant Certification exam.
