Medical Assistant Degree

Approved by the Commission for Independent of Education in Florida, our Medical Assistant Associate Degree Program is designed to prepare students to work as Medical Assistants  in places such as hospitals, nursing homes, medical offices and group practices, or home health agencies. Graduates from FMC also have opportunities to work in Medical spas and dermatology offices among others. In as little as 11 months, students can complete our program. Accompany that with 91 credits and 1400 hours, and our brilliant students earn science degrees.[/text]

Medical Assistant Specialties

A Medical Assistant is a multi-skilled health care professional specializing in procedures commonly performed in the ambulatory health care setting. Our student’s goals are to become not only a professional in the health care services, but a renown professional in the latest aesthetic technology. Medical Assistant students can graduate with an Associate Degree in Science, in Medical Assistant, and also certified as part of their specialization in different areas such as Certified Medical Assistant, Medical Assistant Dermatology, Medical Assistant Aesthetician or Medical Assistant Researcher. Upon completion of the program, national certification exams can be taken with the National Healthcareer Association. Credits transferred are accepted from other Schools if they’re accredited or licensed by a recognized institution.
